Nachdem der neue Patch 6.1 gestern bereits auf die amerikanischen Server von World of Warcraft aufgespielt wurde, steht dieses Update nach den heutigen Wartungsarbeiten nun auch endlich den europäischen Spielern zur Verfügung. Dabei bringt dieser neue Patch allerdings keinen neuen Raid, weitere Dungeons oder andere große Inhalte mit sich, sondern eher eine ganze Reihe von kleineren Anpassungen am Spiel, die es nicht mehr wirklich in die Veröffentlichung von „Warlords of Draenor“ geschafft haben, Dazu gehören beispielsweise die angepassten Charaktermodelle der Blutelfen, eine Vielzahl von Neuerungen für die Garnison, eine Implementierung von Twitter in WoW und einige neue Fun Items zum Sammeln.
