In der Nacht von gestern auf heute haben die an World of Warcraft mitarbeitenden Entwickler von Blizzard Entertainment überraschenderweise den neuen Build 26231 auf die mittlerweile schon seit einigen Wochen durchgehend laufenden Alphatestserver von Battle for Azeroth ausgespielt, der diese Testphase selbstverständlich auch dieses Mal wieder um einige lohnenswerte Neuerungen erweiterte. Das Highlight dieses Build sind für viele Spieler wahrscheinlich die auf der Blizzcon 2017 angekündigten Inselexpeditionen, die eine der größeren Neuerungen aus der kommenden Erweiterung darstellen und von vielen Fans schon seit einiger Zeit ungeduldig erwartet werden. Zusätzlich dazu beinhaltete Build 26231 auch noch mehrere neue Modelle, ein neues Modell für die Druidengestalten der KulTiras-Druiden, zwei Ladebildschirme und aufrecht gehende Orcs .Genauere Informationen zu Build 26231 und den Auswirkungen dieses Updates findet ihr in der folgenden Übersicht.

 

 

Die Inselexpeditionen:

Alle aktuell in der Alpha von Battle for Azeroth spielenden Personen dürfen seit der Veröffentlichung von Build 26231 jetzt endlich die ursprünglich einmal auf der Blizzcon 2017 vorgestellten Inselexpeditionen ausprobieren und einen ersten Blick auf dieses brandneue Feature werfen. Währen die Inselexpeditionen die Spieler in ihrer fertigen Version zu vielen verschiedenen Inseln auf Azeroth schicken können, so beschränkt sich die in der Alpha ausprobierbare Variante dieses Features aber leider nur auf eine Insel mit der Bezeichnung ” Un’gol Ruins“. Alle weiteren Informationen zu den Inselexpeditionen findet ihr entweder in der folgenden Zusammenfassung oder in dem darunter eingebauten Bluepost des Entwicklerteams.

 

Informationen zu den Inselexpeditionen:

  • An den Tests der Inselexpeditionen dürfen Helden auf Stufe 110 oder höher teilnehmen.
  • Die Level und die durchschnittlichen Gegenstandsstufen der Teilnehmer wird zu Testwecksen automatisch auf Stufe 112 skaliert.
  • Aktuell gibt es einen Fehler, der das Anmelden als Gruppe beinahe unmöglicht macht. Spieler sollten sich daher im Alleingang für diese Funktion anmelden.
  • Das Brett zum Anmelden für diese Instanzen findet die Allianz in Boralus und die Horde in dem Hafen von Zuldazar.
  • Derzeit stehen den Testern nur die Un’gol Ruins auf dm normalen schwierigkeitsgerad zur Verfügung.
  • Bisher gibt es pro Fraktion insgesamt sechs als Feinde dienende Teams mit NPCs.
  • In dieser Expedition müssen die Spieler als Erstes insgesamt 6000 Einheiten von Arcanit sammeln.
  • Azerit gibt es durch Kristalle, Truhen, mächtige Feinde, freundliche NPCs und viele andere Quellen.

 

 

A new Battle for Azeroth feature, Island Expeditions, is now available for testing for characters at level 110 or higher. Your level and item level will be automatically adjusted to level 120 values. WARNING: There is a known issue with queue as a party that is resulting in a disconnect. Please queue solo until we can give you the all-clear.

Alliance players can queue from the Expedition table in Boralus Harbor, near the Tradewinds Market. Look for the green ship occupying the second slip.

Horde players can queue from the Expedition table in Zuldazar Harbor, at the Port of Zandalar, on the west side. Look for the red ship.

What are we testing?
We are currently testing Un’gol Ruins on Normal difficulty.
There are 12 NPC teams available for testing (6 per faction).

What is the goal of an Island Expedition?
The goal of an Island Expedition is to collect Azerite. The first team to 6000 Azerite wins.
A group of NPCs from the opposing faction will also be present, competing with you for the Azerite.
Many things on the Island reward Azerite: chests, Azerite crystals, powerful creatures, friendly NPCs in need of aid, killing enemy NPCs, and more.
You’ll find things you can interact with, scattered all across the Island to help you.

    • Brain Freeze Frostbolt has a 20% 25% chance to empower your next Flurry to be instant cast, deal 50% increased damage, and apply Winter’s Chill to the target. Winter’s Chill causes the target to take damage from your spells as if it were frozen. Mage – Frost Spec.
    • Cold Snap Resets the cooldown of your Frost Nova, Cone of Cold, Ice Barrier Ice Barrier, Frost Nova, Cone of Cold, and Ice Block. Mage – Frost Spec. Instant.
    • Fingers of Frost Frostbolt and Frozen Orb damage have a 12% chance Frostbolt has a 15% chance and Frozen Orb damage has a 10% to grant a charge of Fingers of Frost. Fingers of Frost causes your next Ice Lance to deal damage as if the target were frozen. Maximum 2 charges. Mage – Frost Spec.
    • Flurry Unleash a flurry of ice, striking the target 3 times for a total of [ 133.6% [ 114% of Spell Power ] Frost damage. Each hit reduces the target’s movement speed by 70% for 1 sec. While Brain Freeze is active, Flurry applies Winter’s Chill, causing your target to take damage from your spells as if it were frozen. Mage – Frost Spec. 1% of Base Mana. 40 yd range. Instant.
    • Frostbolt Launches a bolt of frost at the enemy, causing [ 51.19% [ 60% of Spell Power ] Frost damage and slowing movement speed by 50% for 15 sec. Mage – Frost Spec. 2% of Base Mana. 40 yd range. 2 sec cast.
    • Frozen Orb Launches an orb of swirling ice up to 40 yards forward which deals up to [ 130% [ 200% of Spell Power ] Frost damage to all enemies it passes through. Grants 1 charge of Fingers of Frost when it first damages an enemy. Enemies damaged by the Frost Frozen Orb are slowed by 50% for 15 sec. Mage – Frost Spec. 1% of Base Mana. 40 yd range. 15 sec cast (Channeled).
    • Mastery: Icicles When you damage enemies with Frostbolt, [ 225% of Spell Power ]% of the damage done is stored as an Icicle for 60 sec. Also increases the damage done by your Water Elemental by [ 225% of Spell Power ]%. Casting Ice Lance causes any cast Frostbolt of Flurry, you gain an Icicle that stores Frost damage for 60 sec. Casting Ice Lance causes all Icicles stored to begin launching at the target. each dealing [ 0.1% of Spell Power ] Frost damage. Up to 5 Icicles can be stored. Excess Icicles will automatically be launched. Mage – Frost Spec. Any excess Icicles gained will be automatically launched. Mage – Frost Spec.
    • Shatter Shatter increases your chance to crit deal a ritical strike by an additional 25%. Mage – Frost Spec.
