Im Verlauf der vergangenen Nacht haben die Entwickler von World of Warcraft den neuen Build 21287 auf die Testserver der derzeit laufenden Alpha von “Legion” aufgespielt und einige neue Inhalte zu dieser kommenden Erweiterung hinzufügt. Neben den üblichen Klassenänderungen gehören dazu dann allerdings hauptsächlich Kleinigkeiten an verschiedenen Bereichen des Spiels wie beispielsweise neue Ladebildschirme, zusätzliche Portale in Dalaran oder auch ein weiteres Kampfhaustierturnier auf einem der schwebenden Steine in der Nähe von Dalaran.

 

 

Highlights aus diesem Build:

 

 

 

Der Bluepost:

  • Class Status – We’re continuing to iterate on our class abilities and talents, based on testing and feedback. This build has many revisions scattered around the classes, but here are some highlights:
    • Tank Self-Healing – Several tank heals have switched from being %-of-Max-Health to AP-based healing. This resolves unintended scaling with the massive health increase that artifacts provide.
    • Enhancement Shaman – Revisions to several talents, and a couple new talents.
    • Blood Death Knight – Tweaks to the core combat abilities, including Death and Decay cooldown reduced, and Blood Strike applying a snare.
    • Survival Hunter – Several changes to core abilities and talents. Farstrider buffed significantly. Traps no longer share a cooldown, and all of their cooldowns massively reduced. Fixed many talents to deal reasonable damage instead of placeholder numbers (NOTE: This doesn’t mean that we’ve done exact tuning yet, just that they’re in the right ballpark now).
    • Outlaw Rogue – Roll the Bones now rolls 6 dice instead of 5. A subtle change, but this should resolve the rotational issue of wanting to reroll until you get a perfect roll. Jolly Roger tweaked to better synergize with the artifact.
    • Warlocks – Demonic Servitude moved into Grimoire of Supremacy’s talent slot (and took Grimoire of Supremacy’s name). New Soul Conduit talent in its place.
    • Unholy Death Knight – Tweaks to the core combat abilities to reduce randomness in Festering Wound application.
    • Warriors – Storm Bolt and Shockwave adjusted to clearly be utility abilities, not DPS increases. Battle Cry returns to Protection, and Intimidating Shout returns to Arms and Fury.
    • Brewmaster Monk – Celestial Fortune, a new passive, added to give defensive value to Critical Strike.
    • Holy Paladin – Level 100 talents reduced to a more reasonable power level, and core abilities buffed to compensate.

 

  • Artifact Trait Status – Many artifact traits have been revised in this build. The following artifacts have received the most changes in this build:
    • Beast Mastery Hunter – Several traits rearranged and revised. Hati has a new visual effect.
    • Discipline Priest – Active ability revised, and now triggers Atonement. Several traits revised.
    • Fire Mage – Phoenix Flames is now an active ability, separate from Pyroblast. Several other traits revised to accommodate.
    • Guardian Druid – Tweaks to a few traits.
    • Blood Death Knight – Revision to several traits.
    • Outlaw Rogue – Active ability revised to play better with the rotation. A few traits revised.
    • Assassination Rogue – Several traits revised. In particular, Blood of the Assassinated applies a temporary increase to Rupture damage, instead of an additional bleed, solving synergy issues with Venomous Wounds.
    • Enhancement Shaman – Revisions to the active ability, and a couple traits. Note that there is still one trait planning to be redesigned, due to there being duplicate effects.
    • Protection Warrior – Active ability revised to be much stronger. Several traits revised.
    • Fury Warrior – A few traits revised.
    • Arms Warrior – A few traits revised.
    • Holy Paladin – Artifact now includes a passive +30% Armor buff, to offset not having a shield.
    • Balance Druid – Tweaks to the active abilities and Goldrinn’s Fang.
    • Brewmaster Monk – A few traits revised.
    • Feral Druid – A few traits revised to maintain a better balance between bleeds and direct damage.
    • Affliction Warlock – The active ability has been redesigned, and escaped souls are no longer attackable. Further revision to traits to accommodate this new active ability are still in the works.

 

  • PvP Talent Status – Many PvP talents have been revised in this build. The most changes have been seen on:
    • PvP Standardized Stats – Stats for several specs have been adjusted:
    • Intellect increased for Restoration Shaman, Holy Priests, Holy Paladins, and Mistweaver Monks, and Affliction Warlocks.
    • Agility reduced for Brewmaster Monks, Guardian Druids, and All Demon Hunters.
    • Strength reduced for Blood Death Knights, Protection Paladins, Protection Warriors.
    • Stamina increased for Frost Death Knights, Unholy Death Knights, and All Warlocks.
    • Damage done to players decreased for Restoration Shaman, Holy Priests, Holy Paladins, and Mistweaver Monks.
    • Holy Priest – Several talents revised and added in order to make Holy gameplay a bit more interesting. There are now options to amplify their nature of being a sturdy turret healer. We’ve also reduced the cooldown of Inner Focus, to help them get casts off without fear of being interrupted. Finally, Spirit of the Redeemer has been added, which should help when being heavily focused.
    • Protection Paladin – They were shaping up to be too strong against casters, with several different ways to interrupt/silence/stun them. Some of that utility has moved into talents. We’ve also revised and added talents to help them act as a protector of others, through offhealing.
    • Mistweaver Monk – Several talents revised, in order to amplify how well Mistweavers perform at their intended strengths of quick movement, being self-sufficient, and having strong burst healing. We’ve also made some adjustments to the 4th row in order to provide better alternatives to Ancient Mistweaver Arts. An experimental Fistweaving option has been added, allowing them to heal while dishing out meaningful damage.
    • Holy Paladin – Holy Paladins are similar to Holy Priests in that they are backline turret healers who heal for a lot if left alone. However, we wanted to embrace the new alternative playstyle of the “holy warrior” who can choose to be in the frontlines. There are some talents that reward you for that gameplay already, but with the addition of Avenging Crusader it will become much cooler. Similar to Mistweavers and Holy, we moved their “anti-silence” spell Divine Favor to a less competitive talent tier.
    • Protection Warrior – A few talents revised, notably reducing how many stuns are provided by Warpath.

  • Consume Vitality Drains [ 15% of Total Health Drains 0;] health from the target over 5 sec. You can move, parry, and dodge while channeling this ability. Blood Death Knight – Level 15 Talent. 2 Runes. 20 yd range. 5 sec cast (Channeled). 30 sec cooldown.
  • Dark Arbiter Summon a Val’kyr to attack the target for 40 sec. The Val’kyr grows more powerful as you spend Runic Power. Replaces Summon Gargoyle. Unholy Death Knight – Level 100 Talent. 30 yd range. Instant. 3 min cooldown.
  • Defile Defiles the ground targeted by the Death Knight for 10 sec. Every 1 sec, if there are any enemies standing in the Defile, it deals [ 1 + 39.96% of AP ] Shadowfrost damage to them, bursts a Festering Wound if present 1 Festering Wound, and grows in radius and damage by 2.5%. While you remain within Defile, your Scourge Strike will hit all nearby enemies. Replaces Death and Decay. Unholy Death Knight – Level 100 Talent. 1 Runes. 30 yd range. Instant. 30 sec cooldown.
  • Epidemic Empower your Virulent Plague, causing all infected enemies to instantly suffer [ 96% [ 150% of AP ] Shadow damage. Nearby enemies suffer [ 12.5% of AP [ 27.5% of AP ] Shadow;] damage and are infected with Virulent Plague. Unholy Death Knight – Level 90 Talent. 2 Runes. Instant.

  • Lingering Apparition Wraith Walk lasts 1 seconds longer You move 30% faster during Wraith Walk and its cooldown is reduced by 30 seconds 15 sec. Unholy Death Knight – Level 75 Talent. 25 yd range.
  • Pestilent Pustules Festering Strike now applies 1 2 to 6 Festering Wounds. Unholy Death Knight – Level 30 Talent.
  • Red Thirst Vampiric Blood instantly energizes one Rune, and increases your Runic Power generation by 10% for its duration. [NYI] Blood Death Knight – Level 45 Talent.
  • Soul Reaper Strikes an enemy for (85% Strike an enemy for (150% of weapon damage) Physical damage. After 5 sec, up to 3 5 Festering Wounds on the target will burst. If 3 wounds are burst, you gain Runic Corruption You gain 3% Haste per Festering Wound burst, lasting 15 sec. Unholy Death Knight – Level 100 Talent. 1 Runes. Melee range.   • Soulgorge Consume your Blood Plagues within 0 30 yards, dealing [ 60% of AP ] Shadow damage to each infected enemy.   • Volatile Shielding Your Anti-Magic Shell turns your enemies’ pathetic magic against them, absorbing 30% more magic and dealing 20% more damage, but generating no Runic Power. When it expires 100% of all damage absorbed as Frost divided among nearby enemies when it expires. Runic Power generated from absorbing magic is reduced is dealt as Arcane damage divided among nearby enemies. Frost Death Knight – Level 75 Talent.
  • White Walker You take 20% reduced damge damage while Wraith Walk is active. When you enter or leave Wraith Walk, all nearby enemies are slowed by 50% for 0 3 sec. Frost Death Knight – Level 75 Talent.

 

PvP Talents

  • Wandering Plague Causes [ 1 + 250% of Spell Power ] Shadow damage over 8 sec and inflicts Virulent Plague on the target. When Wandering Plague’s duration ends or is dispelled, it jumps to a nearby enemy within 30 yards afflicted by one of your diseases. Lasts for 3 jumps. You can only have one Wandering Plague active at any one time. Virulent Plague A disease that deals [ 24% of AP ] Shadow damage every 3 sec for [ 168% of AP ] Shadow damage over 21 sec. It erupts when the infected target dies, dealing [ 45% of AP ] Shadow damage, split evenly between nearby enemies. The disease also divided among nearby enemies, and has a 30% chance to erupt each time it deals damage. Unholy DeathKnight – Tier 4 PvP Talent. 1 Runes. 30 yd range. Instant. 8 sec cooldown.

  • Blood Boil Deals [ 1 + 48% of AP ] Shadow damage and infects all enemies within 10 yards with Blood Plague.   • Crimson Scourge Your successful autoattacks Your auto attacks on targets infected with your Blood Plague have a 25% chance to reset the cooldown on Death and Decay, and make it cost no Runes and generate no Runic Power for 6 sec.   • Death’s Caress Deal Reach out with necrotic tendrils, dealing [ 50% of AP ] Shadow damage and applies applying Blood Plague to your target.   • Demonic Name changed from “Demonic (NYI)” to “Demonic”. Eye Beam and Chaos Nova have a chance to transform you into full Metamorphosis for 5 sec. If you are already transformed, the duration is extended Chaos Nova and Eye Beam transform you into demon form for 5 sec. Havoc Demon Hunter – Level 75 Talent.
  • Felblade (Havoc) Charge to your target and strike with a flaming blade, causing (800% 400% of weapon damage) Fire damage and generating 40 Fury. 30 Fury.
  • Felblade (Vengeance) Charge to your target and strike with a flaming blade, causing (800% 400% of weapon damage) Fire damage and generating 20 Pain. 10 Pain.

Vengeance

  • Shattered Souls Killing a target will sometimes shatter their soul, leaving a Soul Fragment behind for 20 sec. The Soul Fragment will be consumed when you approach it, healing you for 25% of maximum 0 health. Consuming a Demon’s soul will grant you 20% increased damage for 20 sec. Demon Hunter – Vengeance Spec.
  • Shear Causes (250% of weapon damage) Physical damage, and has a small chance to shatter a Lesser Soul Fragment from your target that heals you for 10% of your 0 health when consumed. Generates 10 Pain. Demon Hunter – Vengeance Spec. Melee range. Instant.
  • Shear Shear has a small chance to shatter the target’s soul, leaving a Lesser Soul Fragment behind for 20 sec. The Lesser Soul Fragment will be consumed when you approach it or cast Soul Cleave, healing you for 10% 0% of maximum health. If the Greater Soul Fragment comes from a Demon, you will deal 20% increased damage for 20 sec. Demon Hunter – Vengeance Spec.
  • Soul Cleave A vicious strike that deals [ 0% of weapon damage [ 2.000 + 1% of weapon damage ] Physical damage to all enemies in front of you, and consumes a portion of their soul to heal you for 10% of your maximum 0 health. Draws any Soul Fragments within 20 yards to you. Demon Hunter – Vengeance Spec. 400 Pain. Melee range. Instant.

 

 

Druid

  • Bear Form tooltip no longer mentions “Also reduces the chance the Druid will be critically hit by 6%, and reduces the chance for attacks to be parried by 3%.”
  • Tranquility Heals all party and raid members within 40 yards for [ 120% of Spell Power ] instantly and every 2 sec for 8 sec. Healing increased [ 750% of Spell Power ] over 8 sec. Healing increased by 100% when not in a raid. 40 yd range. Instant.

  • Tranquility Heals all party and raid members within 40 yards for [ 120% of Spell Power ] instantly and every 2 sec for 8 sec. Healing increased [ 750% of Spell Power ] over 8 sec. Healing increased by 100% when not in a raid. Can be cast in Tree of Life Form. Druid – Restoration Spec. 18.4% of Base Mana. 8 sec cast (Channeled). 3 min cooldown.

 

 

Hunter

  • Flare no longer lists an effect radius in the tooltip.

 

Talents

  • Caltrops Scatter Caltrops on Scatters Caltrops in an area. Enemies who step on a Caltrop will take [ 1 + 12% of AP ] Physical damage, and be slowed by 70% for 15 sec. Replaces Tar Trap AP ] Physical damage and have 70% reduced movement speed for 15 sec. Survival Hunter – Level 45 Talent. 40 yd range. Instant. 30 sec cooldown. 15 sec cooldown.
  • Chimaera Shot A two-headed shot that hits your primary target and another nearby target, dealing (0% of weapon damage) Nature or Frost damage to each target 660% of weapon damage) Nature damage to one and (660% of weapon damage) Frost damage to the other.
  • Dragonsfire Grenade slowing them by 20%. While the target is affected, the flames periodically scorch its nearby allies for 270 damage as well. Trap will exist for 60 reducing movement speed by 20%. The volatile flames on the target also scorch nearby enemies for [ AP ] damage every 1 sec.
  • Expert Trapper Explosive Trap The damage dealt by the fire left on the ground after the explosion is increased by 500 per second Increases Explosive Trap’s damage over time by 100%. Tar Trap Enemies moving through the tar have a chance to be rooted in place for 4 sec. Steel Trap When your Steel Trap is triggered, the target will also take [ 500 + 200% of Spell Power ] Physical Damage Your Steel Trap also deals an immediate [ 500% of AP ] Bleed damage when triggered.
  • Farstrider When any of your attacks cause a critical strike there is a chance the cooldown of Disengage will be reduced by 10%. Hunter – Level 30 Talent.   • Mortal Wounds When your Laceration periodic deals damage, theres a chance you will Each time Lacerate deals damage, you have a 2% chance to gain a charge of Mongoose Bite. Survival Hunter – Level 90 Talent.
  • Patient Sniper Deadeye increases your Marked Shot and Aimed Shot damage by 150% for 8 sec.
  • Spitting Cobra damage now scaled on AP instead of SP.
  • Stampede tooltip now lists a 12 sec duration.
  • Volley Instantly launch a volley of ammo Launches a volley of shots at the target area, dealing [ 51.48% of AP ] Physical damage to all enemy targets within 8 yards every 1 sec for [ 308.9% of AP ] Physical damage over 0.

 

Beast Mastery

  • Beast Cleave After you Multi-Shot, your pet’s melee attacks also strike all other nearby enemy targets for 120% 100% as much for the next 4 sec. Hunter – Beast Mastery Spec.

 

Marksmanship

  • Bursting Shot tooltip now lists a 4 sec duration for the disorient.
  • Marked Shot Rapidly fires a shot at all targets that are affected by Hunter’s Mark, dealing (350% shots at all targets with your Hunter’s Mark, dealing (450% of weapon damage) Physical damage.
