SC2: Es wird „TotalBiscuit“ als Ansager geben
In der vergangenen Nacht verkündeten die Entwickler von Starcraft 2: Legacy of the Void durch einen auf ihrer Communityseite veröffentlichten Blogeintrag, dass der vermutlich irgendwann in den nächsten Wochen erscheinende Patch 3.10 unter anderem einen neuen Ansager mit sich bringt, der vollständig von dem bekannten YouTuber und Streamer „TotalBiscuit“ eingesprochenen wurde. Wer diese alternative Stimme für den Ansager des Spiels gerne besitzen möchte, der kann diesen Artikel nach dem Erscheinen von Patch 3.10 dann für eine geringe Summe im Battle.Net Shop erwerben und dadurch dauerhaft für seinen Battle.Net Account freischalten.
Zusätzlich dazu haben die Mitarbeiter von Blizzard Entertainment gestern Abend auch noch ein neues Gewinnspiel gestartet, bei dem die Spieler einige dieser neuen Ansager gewinnen können. Um an diesem Wettbewerb teilzunehmen, müssen daran interessierte Personen einfach nur ein Video von ihrer eigenen Imitation von TotalBiscuit auf einer Plattform ihrer Wahl hochladen und den Link zu dieser Aufnahme bis zum Donnerstag, den 26. Januar 2017, an das Entwicklerteam von Starcraft 2 schicken. Die Entwickler werden aus allen Einsendungen ihre fünf Favoriten auswählen und jeder dieser Personen einen kostenlosen TotalBiscuit-Ansager zukommen lassen.

TotalBiscuit Announcer and Contest
The man, the myth, the voice. TotalBiscuit has had a long history with StarCraft II and has made his mark in its history by being a major contributor to the community. He’s hosted, casted, and funded his own tournaments, owned his own StarCraft II team, and now will be immortalized in the game itself.
Coming in Patch 3.10, the Cynical Brit will bestow his bellowing tenor into the ears, and hearts, of StarCraft II players. If you’ve ever wanted John to be your personal coach and caster, the TotalBiscuit announcer is what you’ve been waiting for.
The TotalBiscuit Announcer will be available for purchase in the Collection menu with the release of Patch 3.10.
We’re so excited to launch our first ever Announcer starring a prominent community influencer, that we’re also launching a contest and giving away five free announcer packs.
Since this is all about John’s baritone vocals, we thought the contest should be as well. We want you to give us your best TotalBiscuit impression, upload it to the social media platform of your choice (Youtube, Twitter, etc) and email us the link. We’ll check them out and select our favorite 5 winners who will receive their own TB Announcer in StarCraft II.
Here’s some things to keep in mind to maximize your chances of winning:
- Besides his accent, there is much to emulate when doing an impression: gestures, mannerisms, props, do whatever you can to put yourself in the shoes of John.
- Make sure your privacy settings allow us to view your video. We can’t judge what we can’t see!
- Make sure your video isn’t too long. A minute should be enough to show us your stuff.
- One submission per person.
