Der im Bereich der Qualitätssicherung tätige Blueposter Arvaanas hat die bereits seit einigen Wochen in den offiziellen Battle.Net Foren von World of Warcraft vorhandene Liste mit den bereits bekannten Fehlern in Patch 7.0.3 vor einigen Tagen noch einmal aktualisiert und ein wenig überarbeitet. Dabei entfernte der Mitarbeiter von Blizzard Entertainment dann allerdings nicht nur die mittlerweile von den Entwicklern durch Hotfixes behobenen Bugs aus dieser Liste, sondern er fügte auch noch eine Reihe von neuen Fehlern hinzu, die von den Entwicklern erst vor Kurzem entdeckt und bestätigt wurden. Da viele dieser Bugs allerdings nur unter bestimmten Umständen auftreten und sich mit der richtigen Spielweise sehr leicht vermeiden lassen, kann man jedem Spieler von WoW eigentlich nur empfehlen, sich diese Liste zumindest kurz durchzulesen.

 

(Hinweis: Da die Mitarbeiter von Blizzard bereits an Lösungen für einen Großteil der dieser Übersicht vorhandenen Bugs arbeiten, müssen betroffene Spieler das Auftreten dieser Fehler nun nicht mehr unbedingt melden.)

Spells, Talents & Abilities

  • Death Knight – Only one instance of the debuffs applied by Armies of the Damned can be applied at a time.
  • Death Knight – Epidemic generates Runic Power outside of combat.
  • Death Knight – Army of the Dead Ghouls despawn when you dismiss your primary pet.
  • Death Knight – Army of the Dead ghouls do not despawn when switching specializations.
  • Death Knight – Soul Reaper does not trigger off of Festering Wounds that are burst upon death.
  • Death Knight – Sindragosa’s Fury’s Frost Breath ability cannot target Rotten Drakes on the Cenarius encounter.
  • Death Knight – Consumption is not mirrored by Dancing Rune Weapon or the clone created by Mouth of Hell.
  • Demon Hunter – Havoc’s Metamorphosis does not clear when switching specializations to Vengeance.
  • Demon Hunter – The Soul Fragment counter that is visible on Soul Cleave’s action button carries over upon switching specializations to Havoc.
  • Demon Hunter – The Metamorphosis Impact does not benefit from Mastery: Demonic Presence.
  • Druid – Frenzied Regeneration can ignore PvP damage taken.
  • Druid – Protector of the Pack does not redirect damage done to nearby allies.
  • Druid – Ysera’s Gift has an incorrect tooltip value (1.5% is intended).
  • Druid – Ironfur resets to its base duration if you cast it twice after consuming a Guardian of Elune proc.
  • Druid – The damage taken from Nitro Boosts‘ Rocket Fuel Leak cannot be healed by Frenzied Regeneration.
  • Druid – Astral Influence causes the increased raid frame range to stick when switching characters.
  • Druid – Stellar Empowerment can fade early if Starfall is recast on targets.
  • Druid – Embrace of the Nightmare doesn’t grant crowd control immunity to Rage of the Sleeper.
  • Druid – Stampeding Roar, Moonfire with Lunar Inspiration, and Incarnation: King of the Jungle has a lower GCD than intended.
  • Druid – Healing Touch has a variable GCD for Feral.
  • Hunter – Windburst does not deal increased damage from Sniper Training.
  • Hunter – Barrage can be interrupted by Binding Shot’s activation.
  • Hunter – Harpoon can go on cooldown but fail to fire when cast on flying creatures.
  • Hunter – Kill Command procs melee effect trinkets.
  • Hunter – Explosive Trap occasionally despawns rather than exploding and doing damage on a moving target.
  • Hunter – Ranger’s Net does not try to slow the target if they are immune to the root effect.
  • Hunter – Caltrops stops applying its DoT while the Hunter is crowd controlled.
  • Hunter – If the Hunter is silenced, Explosive Traps that are already on the ground will despawn instead of detonating when a target walks over them.
  • Hunter – Throwing Axes does not always throw three axes.
  • Hunter – The Frozen Wake effect from Expert Trapper Freezing Trap triggers around the Hunter, rather than the target who was trapped.
  • Hunter – Caltrops does not inherit the caster’s crit.
  • Hunter – Caltrops does not spawn if the player does not have line of sight when the skill lands.
  • Hunter – Dragonsfire Grenade’s DoT is removed by Honorable Medallion, shapeshifting, or any effect which removes slows.
  • Hunter – Dragonsfire Grenade does not DoT the target if the player does not have line of sight when the skill lands.
  • Hunter – Harpoon does not move the player to the target if they are invulnerable.
  • Hunter – Harpoon does not pull you to the target if you face away after it is cast.
  • Mage – Ice Lance, Water Jet, and Ray of Frost have similar looking icons.
  • Mage – The damage from Fireball and Pyroblast occurs before the spell missile reaches the target.
  • Monk – Touch of Death deals full damage through damage reduction abilities.
  • Monk – Essence Font from other Mistweavers will show up on raid frames.
  • Paladin – You cannot hex someone out of Divine Steed.
  • Paladin – Blade of Wrath’s DoT effect is dealing less damage than its tooltip suggests.
  • Paladin – Consecration does not deal damage if the casting Paladin is silenced.
  • Priest – Fade and Surrender to Madness are usable while Hexed.
  • Rogue – The [stance] and [stealth] macro conditionals are not true during Shadow Dance.
  • Rogue – Flare prevents Shadow Dance from being used.
  • Rogue – Soothing Darkness heals twice during Shadowdance.
  • Rogue – The Poisoned Knives artifact trait can deal very little damage.
  • Shaman – Tidal Pools fails to heal via Tidal Totem when multiple procs occur.
  • Shaman – The Primal Fire Elemental stands still for a brief second after casting Fire Nova.
  • Shaman – Sundering procs Hailstorm but not Flametongue.
  • Shaman – Frostbrand and Hailstorm can proc while in Ghost Wolf form.
  • Warlock – Soul Shards are reset to 1 when an arena starts, despite generating to 3 during Arena Preparation.
  • Warlock – Pleasure through Pain does not function while the Succubus is affected by Glyph of Shivarra.
  • Warlock – Healthstones do not indicate the amount of healing they do on the tooltip.
  • Warlock – Dimensional Rift can spawn portals too far away to hit the Warlock’s target.
  • Warlock – Soul Effigy is seen by other players.
  • Warlock – Seed of Corruption cannot be reflected.
  • Warlock – Demonbolt lacks a green fire variant spell effect.

Encounters, Dungeons & Raids:

  • The Arcway – Advisor Vandros : Players who do not actively engage in combat with the Advisor are not impacted by Banish in Time , allowing groups to bypass the mechanic.
  • Cenarius : It is possible for Malfurion to not target an object spawned during Forces of Nightmare with Cleansing Ground.
  • Challenge Mode – Vault of the Wardens – Grimhorn the Enslaver does not count towards Enemy Forces killed.
  • Challenge Mode 2.0 – Challenger’s Burden appears on the raid frames while in combat.

 

 

Items:

  • The Toravon’s Whiteout Bindings buff icon is using a placeholder icon and has no details.
  • The tooltip for Tome of the Clear Mind displays the wrong level requirement in English clients.
  • Rhonin’s Assaulting Armwraps – Rhonin’s Assaulting Armwraps can proc from each Arcane Missile tick.
  • Priest – X’anshi, Shroud of Archbishop Benedictus‘ buff tracker Archbishop Benedictus‘ Restitution can be clicked off.

 

 

Quests:

  • In the quest „Going Down, Going Up“ the bungee rope attached to the player disappears after the player reaches the bottom of the pit.
  • If the player dies during the quest „Going Down, Going Up“ , events and dialogue in the quest do not line up.
  • Death Knights – The battle for Light’s Hope Chapel will freeze during „The Light of Dawn“.
  • Sky Admiral Rogers will fall through the Skyfire when players accept the quest „Making the Rounds“.
  • Dread-Rider Malwick will sometimes not respawn after being killed for the quest „Assault and Battery“ if he is kited too far away from his Riding Bat.
