Heute Abend haben die Entwickler von World of Warcraft mit „Highmountain: A Mountain Divided“ das Dritte von insgesamt vier geplanten digitalen Comics zu der kommenden Erweiterung „Legion“ veröffentlicht, welches den Lesern auch wieder die Hintergrundgeschichte des nächsten Addons und die Ausgangsituation bei ihrer Ankunft auf den verheerten Inseln etwas näher bringen soll. Dabei stammt dieses dritte Comic dieses Mal dann aus der Feder des Autors „Robert Brooks“, der in der Vergangenheit bereits öfters für Blizzard an Comics oder Kurzgeschichten arbeitete.

Inhaltlich dreht sich „Highmountain: A Mountain Divided“ dann um die in der Zone „Hochberg“ lebenden Stämme der Tauren und Drogbar und deren sehr wichtige Rolle als Wächter über den Hammer von Khaz’goroth. Dabei erklärt dieses Comic dann recht ausführlich, wo sich dieser Hammer zu Beginn von „Legion“ befindet, warum diese einzelnen Stämme nicht mehr wirklich zusammenhalten und welche Rolle die Spieler in diesem Addon dann möglicherweise einnehmen werden.

Written by Robert Brooks and illustrated by David Kegg, „Highmountain: A Mountain Divided“ is the third in a series of comics leading up to the Burning Legion’s invasion of Azeroth.

Robert Brooks is a senior writer on Blizzard Entertainment’s Creative Development team and has worked on various projects for Blizzard’s game franchises, including the World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor comic „Blackhand“ and the Mists of Pandaria faction short story „The Untamed Valley.
