SC2: Ein Event zum sechsten Geburtstag
Um den bereits am nächsten Mittwoch, den 27. Juli 2016, stattfindenden sechsten Geburtstag von Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty gebührend mit der Community dieses Titels zu feiern, haben die Mitarbeiter von Blizzard in der vergangenen Nacht nun ein spezielles Jubiläumsevent in allen Spielregionen dieses Strategiespiels gestartet, welches der offiziellen Ankündigung zufolge scheinbar bis zum 28. Juli um 11:59 Uhr aktiv laufen soll. Dabei beinhalten die Feierlichkeiten zum sechsten Geburtstag von Starcraft 2 im Grunde dann insgesamt drei verschiedene Geschenke für die Spielerschaft dieses Titels, bei denen es sich jeweils um einen Community Buff, ein Porträt und eine nur diese Woche aktive Animation im Spiel handelt.
Besonderheiten aus diesem Event:
- Es gibt 25% mehr Erfahrungspunkte für Rassen und Kommandanten.
- Spieler erhalten ein Porträt mit einem Kuchen, wenn sie eine Partie in SC2 spielen.
- Die Arbeiter transportieren anstelle von Mineralien nun Kuchenstücke.
Celebrating StarCraft II’s 6th Anniversary
StarCraft II is turning six years old this month! And what better way to celebrate than to give gifts to the community that has supported us throughout the years.
Here are all of the goodies you can expect during the next week.
Starting today, we’re offering a 25% increase in experience for race levels and Co-op Commander levels. Now is a great time to level up Karax, Abathur, and all of the other commanders available. You can also take advantage and level-up your off races for those sweet dance animations.
We’re also giving away a new portrait to commemorate this event. If you play one game from any mode in StarCraft II, you’ll score yourself a sweet new portrait. We will definitely not be asserting that the existence of this sweet layered confection is outright fabrication.
And finally, we’ve added some in-game flavor to celebrate StarCraft II’s anniversary. New advances in Zerg, Terran, and Protoss technology have allowed each race to craft the most powerful and destructive units out of sugar and flour. No longer will your workers have to handle dangerously sharp crystals to fund your army.
All of these goodies will be available from Friday, July 22 till 11:59 p.m. on Thursday, July 28.
