Dungeons in Shadowlands: Mists of Tirna Scithe
Auch wenn der Ardenwald im Moment noch immer nicht in der Alpha von Shadowlands verfügbar ist, so haben die Entwickler von Blizzard Entertainment einen ihrer letzen Build für diese Testphase aber zumindest dafür genutzt, um den in dieser Zone vorhandenen Dungeon „Mists of Tirna Scithe“ zum Testen freizuschalten. Dieser neue Dungeon ist ebenfalls für die Levelphase in der nächsten Erweiterung bestimmt, weshalb daran interessierte Personen diese Instanz auch bereits ab Stufe 50 betreten dürfen. Wer sich für diese Instanz anmeldet, der trifft an diesem Ort auf drei verschiedene Encounter, deren Optik und Mechaniken jeweils auf den Themen des Ardenwalds basieren und höchstwahrscheinlich einen Teil der Geschichte dieser Zone darstellen.
Während die Hallen der Buße und die Nekrotischen Schneise ziemlich gradlinige Dungeons mit klassischen Mechaniken darstellen, so haben die Entwickler sich für „Mists of Tirna Scithe“ aber einige etwas außergewöhnliche Elemente ausgedacht. Passend zu dem Namen dieser Instanz gibt es an diesem Ort zwischen Boss 1 und 2 nämlich ein kleines Nebellabyrinth, welches mehr von den Spielern erfordert als nur das simple Niederstrecken von anwesenden Trash Mobs. In diesem Teil des Dungeons müssen die Spieler mehrere an Wegkreuzungen angebrachte Symbole miteinander vergleichen und herausfinden, welches Zeichen nicht zu dem Rest passt. Eine richtige Wahl führt die Gruppe zum nächsten Abschnitt und eine falsche Wahl teleportiert die Spieler an den Anfang zurück. Die Mechanik mit dem Vergleichen von Symbolen wird auch beim zweiten Boss eingesetzt, weshalb die Spieler auf jeden Fall verstehen sollten, was genau sie an dieser Stelle tun müssen.

Die Bosse im Dungeon:
Ingra Maloch
Cursed to exist outside the cycle of Life and Death, the Drust now seek to circumvent their fate using Ardenweald’s mechanisms of Rebirth. Their would-be conquest has found its way to Tirna Scithe, where Ingra Maloch and his followers use foul magic to subjugate the local inhabitants.
- Stage 1: Foul Magic:
- Maloch’s drust magic controls Oulfarran, making it hostile to players.
- Soul Shackle: Ingra Maloch uses drust magic to take control of Oulfarran’s mind, forcing them to attack players.
- Spirit Bolt: Fire a bolt of deathly energy that inflicts 5017 Shadow damage.
- Repulsive Visage: Maloch compels all players to run away from him in fear for 3 sec.
- Embrace Darkness: Maloch shrouds himself in dark energy, applying Shadows‘ Embrace to all players and inflicting 15 Shadow damage to players who attack or cast spells against him.
- Shadows‘ Embrace: Inflicts 1368 Shadow damage to all players every 1 sec while Maloch is protected by Embrace Darkness.
- Droman Oulfarran
- Enchanted Pollen: Expel enchanted pollen that inflicts 7298 Nature damage and disorients players in front of Oulfarran for 4 sec.
- Tears of the Forest: Anima bursts from Oulfarran’s bark and rains down around players. Each glob of anima inflicts 16 Nature damage to players within 3 yds and leaves behind an Anima Puddle.
- Anima Puddle: Inflicts 1824 Nature damage every 1 sec to players standing in the puddle.
- Forced Compliance: Each time Oulfarran is forced to cast Tears of the Forest, the number of missiles increases by 2.
Breaking free of Soul Shackle removes this effect.
- Stage 2: Wrath of the Forest:
Maloch loses control of Oulfarran, who now assists players in battle.- Droman Oulfarran
- Droman’s Wrath: Overwhelm Ingra Maloch with the fury of the forest, stunning him and increasing all damage he takes by 200% for 10 sec.
Removes all stacks of Dark Empowerment.

Mistcaller
Tirna Scithe is defended by force of arms, but also cunning. The playful Mistcaller has used the mists to confuse and disorient invaders. With the Drust attack the Mistcaller cannot easily tell friend from foe, and only after her puzzles and games are defeated can you safely reach the heart of Tirna Scithe.
- Guessing Game: Mistcaller wants to play a Guessing Game, disappearing while leaving 4 illusionary clones. Destroying the clone that is different from the others ends the game.
- Illusionary Clone
- Penalizing Burst: Inflicts 1216 Nature damage to all enemies. This damage increases by 15% every cast.
- Oopsie: When the wrong Illusionary Clone is destroyed it explodes, inflicting 12163 Nature damage to all enemies.
- Illusionary Clone
- Dodge Ball: Mistcaller wants to play Dodge Ball and throws an anima ball at a player, inflicting 12163 Nature damage to all enemies in a line.
- Patty Cakes: Twinklewing plays Patty Cakes with an enemy, inflicting 0 Nature damage and confusing the target for 5 sec. This spell can be interrupted by the target.
- Illusionary Vulpin
- Freeze Tag: Mistcaller summons an Illusionary Vulpin to chase her enemies for 8 sec.
- Freeze Tag Fixation: The caster chooses a target to fixate.
- Freezing Burst: When the caster reaches an enemy they explode, inflicting 10643 Frost damage and stunning all enemies within 8 yards for 8 sec.
- Freeze Tag: Mistcaller summons an Illusionary Vulpin to chase her enemies for 8 sec.
Tred’ova
The Gorm have been chewing at the edges or Ardenweald in a desperate search for anima, but the beast called Tred’ova found something else. Lakali, loa of knowledge, is cocooned in Tirna Scithe. Now that Tred’ova has tasted the loa’s power and knowledge, she craves more than survival.
- Consumption: Tred’ova consumes the depleted Cocoon of Lakali causing anima to erupt from them, inflicting 2737 Nature every 2 sec to all enemies for 14 sec. While this occurs Tred’ova will launch missile of anima at random locations around them
- Anima Rejection: Anima erupts from Tred’ova, inflicting 2737 Nature damage to all enemies.
- Gorging Shield: Tred’ova hardens her shell while eating, creating a shield absorbing 56217 damage. While this shield is active, Tred’ova consumes the depleted Cocoon of Lakali causing anima to erupt from them, inflicting 2737 Nature every 2 sec to all enemies for 14 sec. While this occurs Tred’ova will launch missile of anima at random locations around them cannot be interrupted.
- Accelerated Incubation: Tred’ova quickly incubates nearby eggs, summoning 4 Gormling Larva.
- Mind Link: Tred’ova tethers a target to multiple allies, inflicting 1520 Shadow damage every 1 sec. All damage taken is duplicated to tethered allies as Shadow damage. Moving more than 40 yards from the ally dispels the Mind Link from that ally.
- Acid Spittle: Tred’ova spits a glob of acid at an enemy, inflicting 3041 Nature damage every 2 sec for 12 sec.
- Mark the Prey: Tred’ova marks her enemy by spitting a glob of acid at them, inflicting 3041 Nature damage every 2 sec for 12 sec. Gormling Larva will fixate this enemy.Move away from allies you are tethered to when affected by [Mind Link] to reduce party wide damage.
- Acid Expulsion: Tred’ova spits a glob of acid at all nearby enemies‘ location, inflicting 12163 Nature damage to any enemy within 4 yards. As Tred’ova gains intelligence she will attempt to predict where her enemies will move and also fire globs of acid at those locations.
