Nachdem die für den Student Art Contest 2018 verantwortlichen Mitarbeiter von Blizzard Entertainment im Verlauf der vergangenen Woche bereits einzelne Gewinner aus diesem enorm spannenden Wettbewerb auf Twitter enthüllt hatten, folgte im Verlauf der vergangenen Nacht nun auch noch der aus den Vorjahren bekannte Blogeintrag zu diesem Event, der wesentlich umfangreicher als die bisherigen Tweets gestaltet wurde. Durch diesen interessanten Artikel erfahren daran interessierte Personen unter anderem, welche Künstler aus der Community in den Kategorien Environment Art, Character Art, FX, Animation und Environment Visual Development den ersten Platz dieses Wettbewerbs belegen konnten und welche Einsendungen zwar beeindruckend aussehen, aber den ersten Platz leider haarscharf verfehlt haben. Dabei beinhaltet diese Übersicht von Blizzard Entertainment selbstverständlich auch jeweils die Einsendungen (Artworks oder Videos) von allen erwähnten Künstlern, sodass Fans des Artstils oder der Effekte von World of Warcraft sich jetzt auf einen Schlag an einer Reihe von wirklich toll aussehenden Projekten erfreuen können.

Folgend könnt ihr bei Interesse jetzt selbst einen Blick auf die Sieger und Runner-Ups der zu diesem Wettbewerb gehörenden Kategorien werfen.

Presented by Blizzard Entertainment’s University Relations and World of Warcraft development teams, the eighth annual Blizzard Student Art Contest has drawn to a close. After some fervent debate and impassioned deliberation, our judges sifted through the many remarkable entries and identified the winning entries.
