  • Argus beinhaltet drei verschiedene Zonen.
    • Ein neuer Dungeon: Seat of the Triumvirate
      • Bosse:
        • Zuraal the Ascended
        • Saprish
        • Viceroy Nazhar
        • L’ura
    • Ein neuer Raid: Antorus, the Burning Throne

        • Varimathras
        • The Coven of Shivarra
        • Aggrama

      • Matron Folnuna
      • Mistress Alluradel
      • Inquisitor Percontatum
      • Ovetigo
      • Sotanathor
      • Pit Lord Vilemus

Development Notes – Build 24473:

“Sometimes the hand of fate must be forced…”

Welcome to the Patch 7.3 Public Test Realm! After the events on the Broken Shore and inside the Tomb of Sargeras raid (no spoilers!), it’s time to take the fight directly to the Legion’s home world of Argus. We’re really excited about this update, and are looking forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback as we head into public testing.

Most (but not all) of the new stuff in 7.3 takes place on Argus—and as you might expect, this is hostile territory. Demons patrol every crag of Argus’s shattered surface, and sometimes it seems as if the planet itself is out to get you. This will be a very story-driven update, but we’re also designing areas with sandbox elements intended to be enjoyed even after you complete the main quest, with gameplay and challenges on the planet’s surface reminiscent of past endgame areas such as the Molten Front, the Isle of Thunder, and the Timeless Isle.

One of the first things you’ll encounter to help you navigate the Legion’s home turf is the Vindicaar: a vessel that will serve as your mobile base of operations—and one of your few safe havens—on Argus. Aside from giving you direct access to a number of 7.3’s new features, the Vindicaar will also be your primary method of transport behind enemy lines. Argus is a no-fly zone, similar to the Isle of Thunder, so to help make sure it’s still easy to get around, the Vindicaar will give you access to an extensive network of teleportation hubs (similar to flight paths, but without the travel time).

There are three main areas to explore on the planet, the first of which is available for testing on the PTR today!

Also in this first build are the first couple of chapters of the 7.3 storyline, and some new and improved casting animations for Restoration Druids, Elemental and Restoration Shaman, Discipline and Holy Priests, and all three Mage specializations (and yes, that includes Arcane Missiles). As with previous patches, player feedback is very important to us as we work to update these animations, so we’re really looking forward to hearing what you think.

(Note: Shadow Priest animation updates are also on the way for 7.3, but aren’t working yet in this build. In fact, some spells are likely to have no animations at all right now. That’s only temporary while we finish getting the new animations ready for PTR testing.)

Other major content that’s contained in Patch 7.3 but not yet complete in this build includes:

  • Further chapters of the Argus storyline, including many cinematic story moments
  • New World Quests
  • Professions updates, including epic gems
  • The Netherlight Crucible, which allows you to upgrade your Artifact to unlock a new way to customize your Relics
  • New dungeon: Seat of the Triumvirate
  • New raid: Antorus, the Burning Throne (though as with other Legion raids, it won’t be released immediately with 7.3)
  • Invasion Points, a new type of replayable content that let you fight the Legion on multiple different worlds
  • Several other improvements and updates to existing features

As the PTR process continues, we’ll provide updates with each build on what’s new. Thanks, and happy testing!

Neue Dialoge:

  • Show yourselves!
  • Velen. At long last, you return to the home you abandoned.
  • You turned your back on your people, Prophet. Your world. Such betrayal should be answered with death.
  • That voice… Hatuun? How did you survive this hell for so long?
  • We changed, just as Argus did. We endured. What choice did we have?
  • Enough!
  • Stay your weapons! The Prophet and his ally are not our foes.
  • High Exarch Turalyon… we meet at last.
  • I have no wish to fight you, Hatuun. But I cannot allow your bitterness to impede our war against the Legion.
  • We must stand together, all of us, if we are to have any chance of defeating the Legion.
  • For millennia, the Army of the Light has waged war upon the Burning Legion. Battles. Skirmishes. Sabotage.
  • We were committed to our cause. Either we would end the Legion’s crusade… or they would end ours.
  • When at last our final assault on Argus began, we knew we might not survive it. And when the Xenedar was hit, it seemed all hope was lost.
  • Your people… your worlds… always crumble.
  • I am. In no small thanks to our friend here. But Alleria… there’s something else.
  • Do… not… give in!
  • When you are ready. We have much to discuss.
  • But the Light never abandoned us. It called you here and gave us another chance at victory. What we do with that chance… that’s up to us.
  • There is a way. We will use what power we have to help you.
  • Arator… not a day passed that your mother and I didn’t–
  • The man’ari torment my kind with their fel magic rituals. Let their dark words be purged… in fire!
  • The scorched parchment you left behind will remind the Legion that our resistance cannot be silenced. Thank you.
  • Even when tortured by the Legion, my people rebel against their accursed crusade. The demons may break their bodies, but never their wills. Go, release their spirits so that they may find peace.
  • The spirits of those who resist the Legion inspire us all.
  • Our people are being used as fodder for vile rituals. Destroy these monstrous creations and help us honor the remains of our dead.
  • Those fiends capture my people and subject them to heinous rituals. We will no longer be hunted. Help us bring the fight to the Legion!
  • As the Legion encroaches upon the hunting grounds of the panthara, the starving beasts have grown more aggressive. Thin their numbers, before they wipe out our talbuk herds.
  • AL’KSH SYR IIR AWAN? IILTH SYTHN AGEV.
  • Environmental justice!
  • Bert’s bot beats baddie!
  • The code clearly missing a semicolon!
  • Bert’s bots bested!
  • Main power turn on!
  • Code review successful!
  • Now the ones we’ve lost can find rest.
  • The lives and souls of my people are safer, thanks to you.
  • Those steeds are vital in our battle against the demons. You have my thanks for safeguarding them.
  • My scouts found the remains of Aggonar. We are in your debt, High Exarch. And yours, outlander.
  • Kil’jaeden’s ship. Even after its destruction, its presence vexes us. Clear the surrounding area of its blight.
  • A pity the memory of Kil’jaeden’s existence cannot be purged as easily as you cleansed these grounds.
  • The Legion is arming a devastator to fire on the Xenedar! We need you to commandeer it.
  • Nice shooting! With that cursed ship out of commission, we can focus on other fronts.
  • Turn the cannon on Kil’jaeden’s ship!
  • But your ally saved many of us from the Legion’s grasp. Perhaps you have changed.
  • We seek you as allies. We came to Argus at the call of the Army of the Light to bring an end to the Legion. Stand with us once more!
  • An end? Pah! Their numbers are beyond measure. It is an impossible task. A death wish!
