Zur Überraschung und Freude eines Großteils ihrer Fangemeinde veröffentlichten die für die fortlaufende Entwicklung von neuen Inhalten für World of Warcraft zuständigen Entwickler von Blizzard Entertainment im Verlauf des heutigen Abends einen neuen Blogeintrag, der alle Spieler darüber in Kenntnis setzen sollte, wann der mittlerweile bereits seit einigen Monaten auf dem PTR vorhandene Patch 8.3: Visions of N’Zoth offiziell erscheinen soll. Diesem interessanten Beitrag zufolge wurde der 14. Januar 2020 (einen Tag später in EU) als offizieller Veröffentlichungstermin für dieses neue Content Update ausgewählt. Dieser neue Patch wird World of Warcraft auf den Start der vierten Saison von BfA vorbereiten und den Spielern unter anderem die neuen Horrific Visions, Überfälle von N’Zoths Dienern, viele neue Quests, eine Alternative zu titanengeschmiedeten Verbesserungen und zwei neue verbündete Völker zur Verfügung stellen,
Zusätzlich dazu beinhaltet der neue Patch 8.3 auch noch den insgesamt 12 verschiedene Encounter umfassenden Schlachtzug Ny’alotha, the Waking City. Auch wenn viele Spieler fest mit einer längeren Pause zwischen dem Release von Patch 8.3 und der Freischaltung dieses neuen Raids rechneten, so sollen der normale Modus und der heroische Schwierigkeitsgrad für diese Instanz überraschenderweise aber bereits am 21. Januar 2019 in World of Warcraft aktiviert werden. Somit müssen die Spieler nach der Veröffentlichung von Patch 8.3 gerade einmal eine komplette Woche warten und können danach dann direkt einen Fuß in diese beiden grundlegenden Schwierigkeitsgrade dieses Schlachtzugs setzen. Das LFR-Tool und der Mythic Modus werden dann wie üblich in den darauf folgenden Wochen nachgereicht.

Ny’alotha, the Waking City
Delve into where nightmares dwell in Ny’alotha, the Waking City, a 12-boss raid set in the Void-shrouded heart of the ancient Black Empire. Confront mad heralds and inscrutable horrors, and ultimately go eye-to-eyes with N’Zoth himself in a fateful battle for Azeroth’s survival.
Ny’alotha, the Sleeping City, has awakened. Under N’Zoth’s command, the armies of the Black Empire threaten to engulf the world and reshape it according to their master’s vision. Only one hope remains: using the repaired titan forges to eradicate the Corruptor once and for all. But, in order to target N’Zoth with the forges’ power, the champions of Azeroth must venture deep into the horrific realm for one final confrontation against the Old God.

Battle for Azeroth Season 4
Shortly after the release of the Visions of N’Zoth content update, Battle for Azeroth Season 4 will begin including a new seasonal affix in Mythic Keystone dungeons, reward updates, and a new season of PvP action.
