Um den einjährigen Geburtstag von Destiny 2 im Battle.Net Launcher gebührend zu feiern, haben die für diesen Shooter verantwortlichen Entwickler im Verlauf der heute Abend gestarteten Blizzcon 2018 überraschenderweise verkündet, dass sie allen auf dem PC spielenden Personen ab heute gerne eine kostenlose Variante des Spiels schenken möchten. Diese kostenlose Variante des Spiels muss von daran interessierten Spieler einfach nur vor dem 18. November 2018 auf ihrem Battle.Net Account registriert werden und steht ihnen danach dann dauerhaft zur Verfügung. Wer diesen Titel jetzt gerne selbst zu seinem Account hinzufügen möchte, der muss einfach nur seinen Battle.Net Launcher auf dem PC starten und am oberen rechten Bildschirmrand auf das Geschenksymbol klicken. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt brauchen Spieler dann nur noch das Geschenk einlösen und dieses ungefähr 80 GB große Spiel auf ihren Computer herunterladen.
