Wer echte Fanartikel von Blizzard Entertainment zu einem ihrer verschiedenen Titel erwerben möchte, der kann mittlerweile nicht mehr den normalen Shop dafür verwendet, sondern er muss den gesonderten „Blizzard Gear Store“ für diese Einkäufe verwenden. Seit Kurzem ist es allerdings so, dass der Gear Shop von den Entwicklern aus technischen Gründen heruntergefahren wurde und erst am 06. Mai 2015 zurückkehren wird.

Dabei werden die Entwickler bei der Rückkehr allerdings einige weitere Fan-Artikel hinzufügen und es Spielern dann ermöglichen neben einer kleinen Statue eines Schatzgoblins (Spardose?) auch noch eine Reihe von Kleidungsstücken mit dem Logo von Overwatch zu erwerben. Dabei handelt es sich um die gleichen Oberteile, die auch von den Entwicklern selbst auf der Blizzcon 2015 getragen wurden.
