SC2: „Update“ Die Beta von LotV endet heute
Update: Die Entwickler von Starcraft 2 haben vor einigen Stunden offiziell über Twitter verkündet, dass sie die bereits vor einer Woche angekündigte Abschaltung der Beta zu „Legacy of the Void“ wie geplant durchführen können und diese Testphase dann irgendwann im Verlauf des heutigen Abends beendet werden soll. Da diese Erweiterung für Blizzards Strategiespiel allerdings bereits am 10. November 215 veröffentlicht wird, müssen an diesem Titel interessierte Spieler sich nach dem Ende der Testphase nur etwas über eine Woche gedulden. Ansonsten verwendet die fertige Version von „LotV“ andere Spieldaten als die Variante für die Beta, weshalb Tester die bisher installierten Daten von ihren Systemen entfernen können.

Nachdem die Veröffentlichung von „Legacy of the Void“ am 10. November 2015 nur noch etwas über zwei Wochen entfernt ist, haben die Mitarbeiter von Blizzard im Verlauf des heutigen Abends nun offiziell angekündigt, dass der aktuell noch immer laufende Betatest zu dieser Erweiterung nun bald enden soll. Dabei sieht es aktuell ganz danach aus, als würden die Entwickler den 02. November 2015 als Ende der Beta planen.
Ansonsten wollten die Entwickler die Tester von Legacy of the Void in ihrer Ankündigung auch noch darauf aufmerksam machen, dass die Beta dieses Titels und die im Handel erhältliche Variante dieses Addons nicht die gleichen Spieldaten verwenden. Aus diesem Grund können die testenden Spieler die Beta nun im Grunde von ihren Computern entfernen und können diese 13 GB an Speicher dann für das eigentliche Spiel verwenden.
We’re approaching the end of the Legacy of the Void beta! Your feedback has been awesome and we’re sincerely thankful to the many testers who participated. Although we’ll continue improving the game moving forward, our initial test phase will soon be ending.
From reporting on large issues like game balance, pacing and competition, to bringing up smaller things which deserved more polish, you’ve all been tremendously helpful! We’ve pored over your feedback and gotten some truly rich data as a result.
Now that the beta is ending, we’ll soon be locking the beta feedback forums. If you have any additional feedback to share, we suggest that you write your final post(s) there as soon as possible.
Additionally, we recommend uninstalling your beta client, as the retail version of Legacy of the Void doesn’t use the same files as the beta. To do this, select “Beta: Legacy of the Void” from the dropdown in the Battle.net App, then select Options > Uninstall Game. Doing so also gives you back around 13 gigabytes of hard drive space back. Hooray!
