Nachdem Data Miner bereits vor einigen Tagen erste Hinweise auf die Implementierung eines Voice Chats in den Battle.Net Launcher entdecken konnten, haben die Mitarbeiter von Blizzard in der vergangenen Nacht nun endlich den offiziellen Verwendungszweck für dieses Feature angekündigt. Scheinbar ist dieser neue Voice Chat dann für den kommenden Shooter „Overwatch“ bestimmt und soll bereits in der Ende des Monats startenden Beta dieses Titels eingesetzt werden. Genaue Informationen zu der Funktionsweise dieses Tools in Overwatch sollen folgen, sobald die Beta gestartet wurde.
